Landing Page After Login
By default, signing in to the admin area takes you to the Dashboard. If you spend your day somewhere else, like the check-in screen or the ticket list, you can have Manage1to1 take you straight there instead. You can set this for yourself, and an administrator can set a default for everyone in a role.
Set your own landing page
- Open your Edit Profile page.
- Find Landing Page After Login and pick where you want to land.
- Save your profile.
The dropdown only lists pages you have permission to open, so you can never point yourself at a page you cannot reach. Leave it on Use role default to follow whatever your role is set to.
The pages you can choose from are Dashboard, Support Center, View Tickets, Devices, Rapid Check-In, Rapid Check-Out, Check-In Review, Users, Incidents, Carts, Rooms, Reports, and Invoices.
Set a default for a role
If everyone with a given role should start in the same place, set it once on the role instead of asking each person to change their profile.
- Go to Roles and open the role you want to change (or add a new one).
- Under After Login, choose a Default landing page.
- Save the role.
Leave it on Dashboard (default) to keep the standard behavior. Anyone with the role can still override this on their own profile, so the role setting is a starting point, not a lock.
When you sign in, Manage1to1 uses your own profile choice first, then your role's default, and finally the Dashboard. If you ever lose access to the page you picked, for example after a role change, you are quietly sent to the Dashboard instead so you are never stranded on a page you cannot open.
Your landing page is honored however you sign in, including single sign-on and after multi-factor authentication. Opening a direct link to a specific page always takes you to that page, the same as before.
