Arranging, Editing, and Removing Widgets

Hovering over a widget on any tab you can edit reveals a small action strip in the upper-right corner:

Moving a widget

Use the drag-handle icon at the left of the action strip to grab the widget and drop it where you want. Other widgets reflow around it automatically.

The grid uses a 12-column layout, so a widget that's set to half-width (6 columns) sits next to another half-width widget on the same row; full-width widgets push everything else below them.

Resizing a widget

Every widget has a resize handle inside its header — a small button to the right of the title. Click and drag the handle horizontally to make the widget narrower or wider.

The widget snaps to one of the grid's standard widths (one third, half, two thirds, or full). Each widget type has its own range:

  • The Quick Stats widget always renders at full width — it's locked because its four cards need the space.
  • The Recent Unpaid Invoices widget starts at two-thirds width but can grow to full width.
  • Most other widgets can be set anywhere from one third to full width.

As you drag, neighboring widgets reflow live so you can see what the layout will look like before you let go.

Editing a widget

Configurable widgets (Filtered Count Card, Pie Chart, Bar Chart, Trend Line, Top-N Table, Recent Activity) can be reopened to change their settings. Click the pencil icon on the widget. The same settings form you used to create it opens, pre-filled with the saved values. Change what you need and click Save.

Pre-made widgets (Quick Stats, Campus Summary, Loaner Devices, Licensing Info, Support, Recent Unpaid Invoices) don't have settings, so the pencil icon doesn't appear on them.

Removing a widget

Click the trash icon in the widget's action strip. Confirm in the dialog and the widget is gone from this tab. Other tabs that have the same widget pinned are unaffected — each widget is independent.

Don't worry about losing a widget

You can always re-add a pre-made widget from the picker. For configurable widgets, removing and re-adding is fine — settings live on each widget instance, and you can recreate one in seconds.
