Version 2026.07.2

Release

July 13, 2026

Release Type

Stable – Feature & Fix Release

Summary

2026.07.2 builds on the first calendar release with faster device workflows, more configurable ticketing and incidents, and a round of import, integration, and stability fixes.

The biggest theme is speed at the cart. Rapid Check-In now keeps scanning through devices that aren't checked out instead of stopping the line on an error, and a new Rapid Check-In log records which device was checked in and when, so a return line moves at scanner speed and you still have an audit trail. Standing up inventory is easier too: you can duplicate an existing device record and change only the asset tag and serial, and bulk-assign devices to rooms and carts instead of one at a time.

Ticketing and incidents get more configurable. Admin-created tickets now show the department's custom fields inline, so technicians classify a ticket, and kick off the workflows that classification drives, in a single pass instead of opening it twice, and a help desk custom field can now apply to every department at once. Incidents gain custom fields of their own, required or optional, district-wide or scoped to a single building, and an incident now shows the user's grade and building and links its device model straight to the device profile.

Imports and rostering get friendlier: Device Import accepts a building name (not just its SIS ID) and the model picker shows a paste-ready import name, and switching your roster source to a OneRoster provider now reconciles existing buildings by name instead of duplicating them, with a clear warning before the switch.

Plus a mobile-friendly card layout for admin tables on phones and tablets, and fixes to annual rollover, Smart Rule notification text, rostering settings visibility, and ClassLink sign-in.

Marquee features:

New Features

Rapid Check-In

When you scan device after device to check them back in, Manage1to1 no longer stops the line when a scanned device isn't currently checked out. Instead of clearing the box (or reconfiguring your scanner to re-select the text) after every such device, the check-in flow shows a brief notice and immediately moves on to the next scan. Return days move at scanner speed.

Rapid Check-In Log

Rapid Check-In now keeps a running list of every device checked in during the session, which device was scanned and the time it happened, so the green success flash is backed by a real, reviewable record you can glance at as the line moves.

Custom Fields on Admin Tickets

When an administrator opens a ticket, the ticket form now shows that department's custom fields inline, the same fields users already see in the portal. Technicians can categorize the ticket as they create it, often the trigger that starts a workflow, instead of saving the ticket and reopening it just to add the value. Admin and portal ticket creation now line up.

Custom Fields on Incidents

Incidents can now carry your district's own custom fields, right alongside the standard assessment and repair notes. Define a field once and it appears on every Add and Edit Incident form and on the incident record. Mark a field required to make sure staff capture it before an incident can be saved, and set its scope to all buildings or just one so each site sees only the fields that apply to it. The incident's User Information also now shows the student's grade and building, and saved custom field values are collected in an Additional Details section on the incident.

Duplicate a Device

From a device's profile you can now duplicate it into a new record that copies the shared details, purchase order, acquisition date, model, and the like, and prompts you to set the fields that must be unique, such as the asset tag and serial number. Standing up a batch of near-identical devices no longer means retyping the same information for each one.

Bulk Assign Devices to Rooms and Carts

There's now a bulk path to place devices into rooms and carts, mirroring bulk checkout to users. Instead of assigning devices to a room or cart one at a time, you can move a whole list in a single operation.

Access the Device from an Incident

On an incident, the device model, serial number, and asset tag all link directly to that device's profile, so you can jump from a repair record straight to the full device without searching for it.

Improvements

Global Help Desk Custom Fields

A help desk custom field can now apply to every department at once instead of being tied to a single department. Set a field's scope to "all departments" and it appears on every ticket queue, resolving ahead of each department's own fields, so a shared value like a request type only has to be defined once.

Mobile-Friendly Admin Tables

Admin data tables now reflow into a clean, tappable card layout on phones and small tablets, including the warehouse views, so lists that previously required sideways scrolling on a small screen are readable at a glance.

Device Import by Building Name

Device Import now accepts a building's name in the building column, matching how Room and Cart imports already work, so you no longer have to look up each building's SIS ID to build an import file. The Device Model reference popup also shows a ready-to-paste import name for each model, instead of pointing you at a numeric value.

Safer Roster-Source Switching

Switching your rostering to a OneRoster provider, for example, moving from file imports to ClassLink, used to risk duplicating every building. Now the sync reconciles each incoming school against your existing buildings, first by ID and then by name, adopting the new provider's identifiers while preserving the old ones so students stay attached and buildings aren't duplicated. A confirmation warning explains exactly what will happen before you switch.

Bug Fixes

  • MAN-1233, Annual school-year rollover now reports an accurate reason when it isn't available to run, and no longer depends on outside state to trigger.
  • MAN-1234, Smart Rule notification merge fields now resolve correctly: the status shows its name instead of a number, the school and building names populate, and the message body is properly formatted.
  • MAN-1241, User Rostering settings are no longer hidden from non-superadmin administrators who should be able to see them.
  • MAN-1245, Fixed ClassLink single sign-on failing to sign in for affected districts.
