Version 2026.07.3
July 27, 2026
Release Type
Stable – Feature & Fix Release
Summary
2026.07.3 is a large release headlined by a much smarter help desk, rostering that scales to the biggest districts, and a round of new insurance, parts, and ticketing tools, on top of the deepest batch of SIS and MDM hardening in a single release yet.
The biggest theme is help desk automation you can actually shape to your district. Ticket workflows can now match on the words in a ticket's body (not just its subject), on the department changing on a ticket, and on who filed it — their type (student vs. staff) and their grade — so rules route and escalate the way your team actually works. Alongside that, canned responses let agents drop a saved reply into the editor in one click.
The second theme is rostering at scale. OneRoster sync now imports reliably at any size — even a 170,000-student roster syncs from start to finish, with no size limits and nothing to configure. Manual sync now runs in the background with a live progress meter (phase and running counts) instead of appearing to stall, and you can choose exactly which staff and guardian roles to bring over.
There's also a lot of new day-to-day power: a user's profile now shows their insurance status and claims history; parts can be restricted to specific admin roles and used directly on an incident; the new Loaner Queue gives a dedicated operational view of every loaner; incident flags can be scoped to a department or building; Rapid Check-In can offer to log an incident on return; and service / generic accounts give you a clean place to store shared logins and custom fields without fees or AUPs.
Under all of that is a very large stability and integration pass: PowerSchool, ClassLink, and OneRoster rostering hardened against real-world data (mixed-case names, missing school numbers, the graduated-building edge case, cross-tenant safety), JAMF School and MDM Device Review crash fixes, custom-domain hardening, platform updates that keep the service current and secure, and a stack of support-reported fixes.
Marquee features:
- Smarter Ticket Workflows, match on the ticket body, a department change, and the requester's type and grade
- Rostering at Scale, OneRoster sync that scales to the largest districts, with background execution and live progress
- Canned Responses, one-click saved replies in the ticket editor
- Insurance on the User Profile, coverage status, claims used, and claim history
- Parts on Incidents & Role Visibility, use parts on a repair and restrict parts to specific roles
- Loaner Queue, a dedicated operational view for loaner devices
- Log an Incident from Rapid Check-In, capture damage the moment a device comes back
- Service / Generic Accounts, a clean account type for shared logins
New Features
Smarter Ticket Workflows
Ticket workflows gained three new condition types so rules can key off far more than the subject line:
- Body — match a keyword or phrase in the ticket's message, not just its subject, so a rule like "if the body mentions water damage, assign to the device tech" just works.
- Department changed — fire the moment a ticket is re-categorized (changed to, or from, a specific department), so re-routing follows a reclassification automatically.
- Requester type & grade — branch on whether the person who filed the ticket is a student or staff member, or on their grade, for audience- and grade-specific routing.

Rostering at Scale (170,000+ students)
OneRoster sync now handles districts of any size with ease. Whether your roster has a few hundred students or 170,000, imports run reliably from start to finish — no size limits and nothing to configure. Large districts just sync, quietly and dependably.

OneRoster Background Sync with Live Progress
Running a manual OneRoster sync no longer appears to stall at "background started." The sync now runs in the background and shows a live progress meter — the current phase and running counts — so you can watch it work and know when it's done.

Configurable Roster Roles
When syncing from OneRoster, you can now choose exactly which staff and guardian roles to bring into Manage1to1, across every provider, so you import the people you want and skip the ones you don't.

Canned Responses
Agents can save common replies and drop them into the ticket editor in one click — no more retyping the same answers. Manage your canned responses under Help Desk settings.

Insurance on the User Profile
A user's profile now surfaces their insurance at a glance: whether they're currently insured, how many claims they've used against each plan's limit, and a Claims Filed list that links straight to the related incidents and invoices — so a technician or billing admin can see coverage and history in one place.

Parts on Incidents & Role Visibility
Parts inventory gained two big additions:
- Use a part on an incident — draw a part from stock directly on a repair, with the cost flowing to the incident's invoice.
- Per-part role visibility — restrict a part to specific admin roles, so sensitive or high-value parts only show for the teams that should see them.
- Per-site locations — mark a storage location as restricted so it's visible only to full-access admins or the sites explicitly granted it.

Loaner Queue
A new Loaner Queue gives you a dedicated operational view of every loaner device — who has it, since when, and its return status — so managing loaners doesn't mean filtering the whole device list.

Log an Incident from Rapid Check-In
Returns are when damage is usually spotted, so Rapid Check-In can now offer a Log Incident button on a successful check-in that opens a new incident pre-filled with the device and the user it was returned from — capturing damage without leaving the scanner. It's off by default and only appears for staff who can create incidents.

Incident Flags by Department or Building
Incident flags can now be scoped to a specific department or building, so each site or team sees only the flags relevant to them instead of one shared global list.

Service / Generic Accounts
A new Service / Generic account type gives you a clean place to store shared logins, service credentials, or custom-field data — without device fees, AUPs, insurance, or incident stats attached, since those don't apply to a non-person account.

Note Editing & Reply Locking
Ticket replies are now immutable once posted (preserving the conversation record), while internal notes can be edited by their author, with an edit history — so agents can correct their own notes without rewriting what customers saw.

Add Incident Photos While Creating an Incident
You can now attach photos to an incident as you create it, instead of saving first and adding photos in a second step.
Custom Fields Multi-Select
Custom fields can now be multi-select, letting a single field capture more than one value.

Improvements
Rapid Verify Extra Fields
The Rapid Verify scan-result card can now show additional device custom fields (for example, Funding Source), so staff confirm the details that matter during an audit without opening the device profile.

Device Custom Fields by Category
Device custom fields can now be scoped to specific device types, so a field only appears on the categories it applies to.

Device Active/Inactive as a Status Setting
Whether a device counts as active or inactive is now driven by its Device Status (a per-status setting) rather than a fixed, preset rule, so you control which statuses are "active" — independently of whether they're hidden.
Smarter Import Matching
Building names and device models are now matched intelligently on import, so an upload reconciles to your existing buildings and models instead of creating near-duplicates.
MDM Device Review Polish
The MDM Device Review workflow got a round of usability work — corrected navigation, searchable override dropdowns, inline model quick-create, and bulk overrides.
SSO on Custom Domains & Platform Updates
Single sign-on now works on a district's custom domain, and the platform has been updated to stay current and secure on the latest supported infrastructure.
Bug Fixes
This release resolves a large batch of issues, with a particular focus on rostering and integrations:
- Rostering & SIS — OneRoster no longer mangles mixed-case names (McKenzie stayed McKenzie), PowerSchool keys buildings correctly so admins/staff without a school number still roster, the graduated-building edge case no longer drops users from imports, a district can no longer link another district's ClassLink Tenant ID, ClassLink building sync and IdP-initiated launches were fixed, and rostering notification emails no longer include unformatted error text when a SIS feed returns an incomplete response.
- Help desk & incidents — fixed the "Manage Custom Tabs" error, the incident-delete security-token error, the ticket filter's sizing, custom fields not deleting, the AUP status not updating, "Mark Found," a PDF-attachment download error, and a forwarded-mail poll failure that could drop inbound tickets.
- MDM — JAMF School sync crashes and its settings-page layout, plus MDM Device Review approve crashes, were fixed.
- Platform & security — custom domain / CNAME handling was hardened before general use, the device-status auto-hide crash was fixed, and broken admin help links were corrected.
