Summary​

Version 3.5.1 is a maintenance release focused on stability, dark theme polish, and reliability improvements across the platform. This update resolves issues affecting large-scale deployments, improves Help Desk reporting accuracy, and ensures consistent behavior across background sync tasks. ClassLink users will benefit from expanded staff sync support, and Dark Theme users will find a more polished experience throughout the application.

Improvements​

  • ClassLink Staff Sync — Staff members (teachers, administrators, and other non-student users) are now included when syncing users from ClassLink. Previously, only student records were imported during the ClassLink sync process.
  • Client Portal Integration — The integration between Manage1to1 and the client portal has been updated to the latest platform. Administrators now see clear, specific messages when a license issue is detected (expired, suspended, cancelled, or pending) rather than a generic error.

Bug Fixes​

  • Quick Stats & MDM Reports Performance — The Quick Stats dashboard and MDM Statistics report pages no longer time out on sites managing large device fleets. MDM data now loads asynchronously with a loading indicator, so the rest of the page is available immediately while device statistics are retrieved.
  • Technician Performance Report — The Technician Performance report in the Help Desk reports section now loads reliably. Additionally, the Building Demand report calculates demand more accurately by including tickets from users without an assigned device and displaying demand as a percentage with a helpful tooltip.
  • Report Permissions — The Reports section now loads correctly for all administrator accounts, including those with restricted permissions.
  • Apple School Manager Sync — ASM integration no longer hits API rate limits during large syncs. Device profiles with multiple MDM providers (such as ASM and JAMF simultaneously) now display information in separate tabs. AppleCare coverage data syncs more reliably, and a new Diagnostics tab on ASM device profiles gives administrators visibility into sync status for individual devices.
  • Dark Theme — Table Readability — Color-coded table rows (status indicators using success, danger, warning, and info styling) now display correctly in Dark Theme with appropriate background tints and legible text. Expanded/collapsed child rows in responsive tables are also fixed.
  • Dark Theme — Rapid Check-Out — The person/room search autocomplete dropdown in Rapid Check-Out now uses proper Dark Theme styling instead of appearing with a white background.
  • Scheduled Task Resilience — If a background sync task (ClassLink, MDM, billing, etc.) encounters an error, it no longer prevents other scheduled tasks from running. Additionally, tasks that get stuck are now automatically recovered within 60 minutes instead of potentially remaining stuck for over 24 hours.
  • Device List Duplicates — The device list no longer shows duplicate entries for devices tracked by more than one MDM provider. Each device now appears only once regardless of how many MDM connections are active.
  • Cart Checkout Search — The person/room search bar during Cart Checkout now returns results correctly.
  • Ticket Department Creation — Administrators can once again reliably create new ticket departments from Settings → Support Center → Departments.
  • Support Center Settings — Saving settings on one tab (General or Knowledge Base) no longer overwrites settings on the other tab. Each tab now saves independently, preserving your configuration across both sections.
