Email Importing

To configure email importing for a support department:

  1. Create a unique email account on your mail server for each help desk ticket department. This must be a full functioning inbox with IMAP or POP support.
  2. Create a new Help Desk Email or, for existing departments, click Edit.
  3. Enter the email information for the department.
    1. Enter your server Hostname.
    2. Enter a Mail Server Port. Typically, this is port 995 for POP3. (IMAP typically uses port 993)
    3. enter the email address and password for the email account that you created.
  4. Press Save Settings

Manage1to1 will automatically attempt to process incoming emails around every 5 minutes.

Note
Manage1to1 will delete the email in the mailbox upon successful import and ticket creation.
